Imagine that the /checkout endpoint normally responds in 400 milliseconds but suddenly starts taking almost three seconds. Knowing that the endpoint is slow is useful. Knowing where those three seconds are being spent is far more valuable.

Instead of guessing, engineers can focus immediately on the component responsible for the delay.

Now add more context: the slowdown started at 10:42 AM, appeared after a new release, is affecting 184 users, and coincides with an increase in payment API errors. The investigation changes completely.

The goal is not more dashboards. The goal is faster understanding.
