innoAPM
Catch Every Error. Know Exactly What Broke.
Self-hostable application performance monitoring and error tracking — errors, traces, logs, metrics, CPU profiles, session replay, release health, uptime and alerts in one platform. Drop in an SDK for Node, the browser, Next.js, React Native, Android, iOS or .NET, or point any OpenTelemetry exporter at it.
innoAPM is an application performance monitoring and observability platform built to answer why something is wrong in production without shipping new code to find out. Every crash is fingerprinted and grouped into a single issue with the full stack trace, cause chain, breadcrumbs, affected users and release. Resolved issues that recur reopen themselves as regressions, and source maps, dSYMs, ELF symbols and R8 mapping files symbolicate minified and native stack frames back to your original source at ingest.
Alongside errors, innoAPM records transactions and spans with distributed trace propagation, a service map, and an Apdex, p95, error-rate and throughput KPI row on every page. Logs are counted into patterns so you see volume and trends for every line, while full lines are kept only for requests that failed, ran slow or were sampled — which keeps observability affordable as traffic grows. Custom counters, gauges and distributions, sampled CPU profiles as flame graphs, Core Web Vitals and privacy-first session replay complete the picture, all joined by trace id and release so you can move from an alert to the issue, its trace, its logs and the replay of the session that broke.
Release health tracks crash-free sessions per release and environment, so you see which build regressed before support tickets arrive. Uptime probes and cron check-ins catch the failures no SDK can report — the endpoint that is down and the job that never started. Alerts fire on a threshold you choose or on anomalies against the metric's own baseline, and fan out to email, Slack, webhooks and PagerDuty, with GitHub and Jira tickets one click from any issue.
First-party SDKs cover Node.js, the browser, Next.js, React Native and Expo, Android (including NDK crashes and ANRs), iOS and macOS, and .NET, and a one-line wizard installs and configures the JavaScript SDKs for you. Python, Java, Go, Ruby and any other language report through OpenTelemetry (OTLP/HTTP) with no innoAPM code needed. Use the hosted service or run it yourself on Next.js and PostgreSQL — innoAPM is MIT licensed. Innoworks can help you instrument your applications, design alerting that people trust, and build observability into your platform from day one.
Supported Technologies
Built on industry-leading frameworks and models
Error Tracking & Triage
Grouped Issues With Full Context
Every crash is fingerprinted and rolled up into one issue — stack trace, cause chain, breadcrumbs, release, environment and a distinct "users affected" count to prioritise by blast radius.
Search, Assign & Bulk-Resolve
Filter by project, status, level, priority, environment, assignee or free text. Assign owners and bulk-resolve straight from the list.
Regression Detection
Resolve an issue and forget it — until it comes back. Recurring errors automatically reopen and are flagged as regressions.
Symbolication for Web & Native
Source maps per release for JavaScript, plus ELF, Mach-O/dSYM and R8 mapping files for Android and iOS — uploaded from CI with the innoAPM CLI and resolved at ingest.
Performance & Tracing
Transactions, Spans & Waterfalls
p50/p95 latency and a span waterfall for every transaction, so you see where the time went — not just what threw an exception.
Distributed Tracing & Service Map
Trace context propagates across services, and a service map shows each service's health and its caller-to-callee dependencies.
Slow Operations Ranked by Total Time
Spans roll up by operation and are ranked by total time — a 20 ms query run ten thousand times costs more than a two-second one run twice.
CPU Profiling & Core Web Vitals
Sampled CPU profiles as flame graphs with self and total time, plus LCP, CLS and INP at the 75th percentile from real browsers.
Logs, Metrics & Replay
Affordable Logs
Every log line is counted into a pattern; full lines are kept only for requests that failed, ran slow or were sampled — volume and trends for everything, detail where it matters.
Custom Metrics
Counters, gauges and distributions from the SDKs or OpenTelemetry, aggregated per minute and charted next to the built-in KPIs.
Privacy-First Session Replay
Watch the session that broke. Every input and text node is masked in the browser before it is sent, and scripts are never recorded.
Custom Dashboards
Compose the widgets you care about. They resolve through the same metric layer as the built-in pages, so a dashboard never disagrees about the error rate.
Releases & Uptime
Release Health
Crash-free sessions, error counts and latency per release and environment — and the issues that are new in the build you just shipped.
Deploy Tracking
Register a deploy ahead of traffic so every release has an identity from the moment it ships.
Uptime Monitoring
innoAPM probes your endpoints and compares the status to what you expect, with failure thresholds so one transient blip doesn't page anyone.
Cron Job Monitoring
Absence is the signal. Jobs check in on schedule, and a missed check-in raises the alarm on the first miss — a nightly job that never ran is never silent.
Alerting & Integrations
Threshold & Anomaly Alerts
Alert on a value you choose, or on what the metric normally does. Anomaly rules need enough history before they fire, so they don't cry wolf.
Email, Slack, Webhooks & PagerDuty
New issues, regressions, spikes and monitor outages fan out to every channel. PagerDuty incidents dedupe on the condition and resolve themselves on recovery.
GitHub & Jira Tickets
Open a GitHub or Jira issue from any innoAPM issue — one ticket per tracker, never two — with the same facts in both.
Alert History
Every firing is logged with the value that breached, so you can see whether a rule has been crying wolf all week before you trust it to page.
SDKs, OpenTelemetry & Deployment
First-Party SDKs
Node.js, browser, Next.js, React Native / Expo, Android (Java, Kotlin, NDK), iOS / macOS (Swift, Objective-C) and .NET — with global crash handlers and sessions on by default.
One-Line Setup Wizard
Run npx @innoapm/wizard with your DSN and it installs the SDK, scaffolds the init files and writes the DSN for Next.js, Node and React Native projects.
OpenTelemetry Native
Python, Java, Go, Ruby and any other language report traces, logs and metrics over OTLP/HTTP — point the exporter at innoAPM, no innoAPM code needed.
Hosted or Self-Hosted
Use the hosted service or run it yourself on Next.js and PostgreSQL. Organizations, projects and Owner / Admin / Member roles, per-key rate limits, quotas and configurable retention.

Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about innoAPM.
QWhat is innoAPM?
innoAPM is an application performance monitoring and error tracking platform. It groups errors into issues and adds performance tracing, logs, custom metrics, CPU profiles, session replay, release health, uptime and cron monitoring, and alerting — all joined by trace id and release.
QWhich languages and platforms does innoAPM support?
First-party SDKs cover Node.js, the browser, Next.js, React Native and Expo, Android, iOS/macOS and .NET. Python, Java, Go, Ruby and any other language with an OpenTelemetry SDK can send traces, logs and metrics over OTLP/HTTP, and there is a documented JSON API for anything else.
QHow long does it take to set up?
Minutes for most apps. Create a project, copy its DSN, and run npx @innoapm/wizard --dsn <your DSN> — it installs the SDK, adds the init code and writes the DSN for Next.js, Node and React Native projects. Other SDKs take a few lines of initialisation code.
QCan we self-host innoAPM?
Yes. innoAPM is MIT licensed and runs on Next.js with PostgreSQL, so you can deploy it on your own infrastructure. A hosted service is also available at innoapm.com.
QHow does innoAPM keep log costs down?
Every log line is counted into a pattern, so you always see volume and trends. Full lines are sent only for requests that failed, ran slow or were sampled — healthy lines never leave your process.
QDoes session replay record sensitive data?
Privacy is the default. Every input value and text node is masked in the browser before anything is sent, passwords can never be unmasked, scripts are never recorded, and replay is off until you set a sample rate.
QDoes innoAPM capture native mobile crashes?
Yes. The Android SDK captures JVM exceptions, NDK signal crashes and ANRs; the iOS SDK captures crashes and app hangs. Reports are written to disk and sent on the next launch, then symbolicated server-side against debug files uploaded from CI.
QCan Innoworks help us implement observability?
Yes. Beyond the product, Innoworks helps teams instrument their applications, set up release and deploy tracking, design alerting that people trust, and build observability into new platforms from the start.
